PayPal is seeking a forward-thinking, enthusiastic, and experienced sales enablement leader to join its Revenue Operations & Enablement group as the Head of Sales Enablement, supporting the Global Sales & Servicing organization at PayPal.

In this role you will have the opportunity to drive significant value for our Global Sales and Servicing organization, thereby impacting the success of our company at large. You will lead a Center of Excellence (COE) organization responsible for the design, delivery, and evolution of cutting-edge sales enablement programs and solutions that elevate capability and drive performance. This critical role requires deep expertise in sales enablement, experience developing and executing innovative sales enablement solutions.

This is a highly consultative and collaborative global role in which you will consult with senior leadership teams in all geographies to identify skill gaps, make solutions enablement recommendations, and lead enablement execution for the Global Sales & Servicing organizations in order to drive business outcomes. This leader will build and transform the Sales Enablement organization to be a world-class global function that directly focused on the key areas related to training, content, and customer advocacy. This position requires your flexibility to create and implement education and enablement across all aspects of the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build out a thorough understanding of current capabilities and gaps across all sales channels from acquisition and through the customer lifecycle across geographies (pitch decks, talking points, competitive battle cards, product fact sheet, etc.). Partner with the sales and sales management teams to design and deliver transformational sales enablement.
  • Build out a robust enablement program from new hire onboarding through continuous learning and deliver the content in a way that it is curated for sales at the right time for the right customer.
  • Work with the Product Marketing function to build sales enablement around product bundles so all sales enablement content is built around solutions tailored for specific sub segments of customers.
  • Design a rigorous process to enable 'last mile success & localization' to ensure a rapid & agile method to ensuring that sales enablement is effective & continuously improved based on frontline feedback.
  • Establish a robust reference program through programmatic testing; market research & build out a compendium of data, proof points, testimonials & customer success stories to enable sales.
  • Work with newly acquired companies to understand how to integrate sales enablement content & build their products/capabilities into sales enablement content.
  • Support all major enablement related sales events such as annual Sales Kick Off.

  • You are a team player who brings a "whatever it takes" attitude to succeed and further the goals of the company and the sales teams.
  • Build a trusted partnership with stakeholder teams and deep understanding of their respective businesses in order to discover the critical enablement needs.
  • You will have direct leadership experience working in large commercial and enterprise sales organizations who sell via channel partners, service providers, and system integrators.
  • Partner with cross functional teams such as Product, Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services and Sales Ops.
  • Data Driven: Ability to use data to design and measure enablement.


Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of work experience in Sales Enablement focused functions.
  • Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Business Management, Operations Strategy or Information Sciences from accredited university.
  • MBA degree from a top tier globally recognized business school preferred.
  • Solid strategic planning skills combined with exceptional project execution capabilities.
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with the ability to analyze data and reports.
  • Collaborative mindset with leadership capabilities and the ability to influence.
  • Excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Enablement processes and systems.
  • Clear strategic thinker with vision and with the ability to execute on priorities.
  • Advanced power point presentation skills and an ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project managements skills including scheduling, workstream management, risk management, status reporting and resource management.
