Senior Director Investor Relations
We are seeking an Investor Relations leader to join System1. System1 is in the process of completing a deSpac transaction with Trebia Acquisition Corporation. The Company plans to complete the transaction by the end of 2021, at which point it will be listed on the NYSE at an initial enterprise valuation of $1.4 billion and trading under the ticket symbol “SST”.
This Senior Director, Investor Relations position is expected to be a key contributor to the investor relations function, working closely with the CFO and Executive Management, and responsible for external communication with the investment community, including creation and ownership of investor marketing materials and review of public disclosures.
The Role You Will Have
- Assist in the implementation of the US and international domestic investor targeting strategy and framework.
- Help scale System1’s technology narrative by distilling and repackaging marketing's narrative for the investor community.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
- Help develop investor relations messages based on operational and business performance through ongoing contacts with company management and business and finance teams.
- Oversee analysis and presentation of feedback of investors' perceptions, brokerage security analysts' positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysis.
- Help create presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors.
- Create analyst day and stockholder day materials.
- Review annual reports, SEC filings, and proxy statements.
- Monitor financial analyst reports and summarize for senior management.
- Help coordinate investor conferences, investor roadshows, earnings conference calls, financial press releases, and investor meetings.
- Analyzing and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of 7+ years experience in equity research, investment banking, or investor relations, or related field. Previous experience in TMT, preferably the Internet or Advertising Technology sector, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, highly motivated team player with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter with experience in a fast-paced, multitask-oriented environment, flexible to changing priorities and multiple tasks within compressed deadlines.
- Ability to develop relationships and collaborate with business leaders across the company, as well as the executive team.
- Developing investor confidence and belief in the company's vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value.
- A combination of both IR and investment community experience is preferred.
- Relationship-building experience in the investment community is preferred.
