Job Description

About the opportunity

You’ll join our Corporate Accounting team — the team that provides expertise and support to our five business verticals. You’ll work hand in hand with internal stakeholders to help them overcome obstacles by understanding their unique goals and challenges, so they can focus on what really matters - helping our customers succeed.

Reporting into Senior Finance Manager, you’ll help us with corporate accounting and closing our international operations. We are working hard to build out our global process and global systems, report accurately & timely, and drive meaningful analysis that supports operations and drives results. Some of the other responsibilities you’ll have:

  • Period end accounting processes including consolidating entries and intercompany eliminations. This includes preparation of journal entries, supporting schedules, general ledger reconciliations and analysis.
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and income statement accounts relating to the corporate entity.
  • Assist in global consolidation of financial statements, including eliminations and foreign currency revaluations.
  • Maintain and review chart of accounts and mapping across subsidiaries to ensure consistency for financial reporting.
  • Support and coordinate with regional finance/accounting teams within Europe, New Zealand, and Australia.
  • Develop and support the intercompany accounting and reconciliation process.
  • Work with external/internal auditors in managing company requests.

Qualifications

What would make me a good candidate?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience with accounting, audit, or finance
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, risk and controls standards and business process best practices.
  • History and desire to drive efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, advanced proficiency with Excel.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.
  • Be comfortable managing through organization and process change.
  • Proactive, self-motivated learner with a strong drive to achieve personal goals
  • Ability to work in a team where you manage your own time and priorities
  • Motivated by a fast-growing environment where you will have to constantly adapt - no two days are the same!
