As a Senior Analyst, Financial Analysis, you will support the continued financial health of the organization by providing critical research to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline processes. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Perform thorough analyses of financial statements to ensure office expenses and fixed assets are recorded appropriately
  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries (prepaids, accruals, subledger postings, etc.), including working with offshore team to ensure monthly processes are executed timely and efficiency
  • Deliver monthly forecasts, perform detailed variance research and develop relevant insights for the variances
  • Conduct ongoing research to identify and implement ideas for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Manage full project life cycle with limited direction
  • Become a lean expert and drive cross-functional initiatives to influence better efficiencies, decrease waste, and improve accuracy and controls throughout the various processes within Finance

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), including financial research in a large corporate environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • CPA certification
  • 5 years of experience in audit, accounting or FP&A, including financial research in a large corporate environment
