About the Role

As the Sr. Accountant at Teampay,  you’ll be part of a world-class Finance team.  Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will ensure that our financial transactions are top notch. You will report directly to our Controller and the role is 100% remote.

What you’ll do:

• Own Accounts Payable and the vendor experience, including onboarding new vendors and contractors, inputting bills and reconciling accounts 
• Own Accounts Receivable by verifying customer contract data, invoicing customers and following up on unpaid invoices
• Maintain the prepaid expenses and fixed asset schedules
• Analyze and explain month-over-month variances
• Assist with month-end close by preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Assist with system and process improvement as needed

Common candidate qualifications include:

• 2-3 years of experience working in a senior accounting role at a SaaS/Fintech startup
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Previous experience working with QuickbooksOnline (bonus points if you’ve helped migrate off of QBO)
• Previous experience working with  Oracle NetSuite or Sage Intacct
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in teams, including collaborating cross-functionally
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
