The Challenge

Due to increased customer demand for the OneTrust platform, we are looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join a global team. The Accountant will be responsible for general accounting tasks and help the team meet business demands in a timely manner. This person will also help enhance internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and work through transitioning work from third-party firms.  

Your Mission

• Own assigned areas of accounting by monitoring related business activities, maintaining records in accordance with OT accounting policies and US GAAP, reconciling related accounts and working with business stakeholders 
• Complete assigned month end tasks with attention to detail and qualitative input in accordance with close timelines
• Support audit activities and tax requests by managing deliverables and preparing requested materials
• Assist with ASC606 revenue recognition activities
• Participate in accounting system projects to improve existing processes and or implement new systems
• Participate in implementing accounting policy and system improvements
• Ensure adherence to processes and internal controls framework
• Perform technical accounting research and draft related memorandums to document key accounting policies and conclusions
• Prepare analysis for Controller and Director as requested, complete ad-hoc reporting to research and resolve inquiries
• Mentor and support the broader accounting team

You Are

You are able to communicate, both verbal and written, with all levels of the organization. You are meticulous in updating accounting records and pride yourself with attention to detail and accuracy. You are adaptable to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are self-motivated; someone who is able to work independently, multi-task and prioritize your workload.  

Your Experience Includes

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance  (CPA or CPA Track preferred)
• 5-8 years accounting experience, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable  
• Solid skill set in general ledger and sub-ledger accounting
• Knowledgeable of US GAAP 
• Advanced Excel skills 

Extra Awesome

• Experience with Revenue Recognition and ASC606 
• Experience performing detailed analysis and trends  
• Experience creating journal entries (determining debits and credits)  
• Capable of researching complex transactions and proposing solutions
