Senior Technical Accountant

We are hiring a Senior Accountant who will have significant interaction with members of the accounting, tax, treasury, FP&A, and sales teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to interpret and apply accounting principles and clearly communicate technical accounting matters to various audiences including those outside of finance. This role will support the Head of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting and the Head of Revenue Accounting with the responsibilities outlined below.

Requirements
- Contribute to development, rollout, and continuous improvement of procedures, processes, accounting memos, and internal control documentation
- Draft and update technical accounting memos covering policies, procedures, and positions for a range of topics, including implementation and compliance with new accounting standards
- Manage deliverables for annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors
- Test and implement new revenue recognition software
- Review new revenue contracts for revenue accounting considerations
- Support integration of new revenue streams into existing processes
- Prepare quarterly and annual filings in accordance with SEC requirements
- Assist with global consolidation process on a monthly basis
- Support ad hoc projects as necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting serving publicly traded clients or a mix of public accounting and public company work experience
- Technology, SAAS, or healthcare experience preferred
- Experience with SOX 404 and internal controls over financial reporting
- Project management including consistently establishing and meeting timelines
- Ability to learn and understand financial accounting systems/software
- Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
