Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Accounts Payable & Supplier Accounting team as a Senior Accountant! You will be responsible for a high volume of complex balance sheet GL reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting as well as balance sheet analysis, forecast, risk analysis and audit.
This position is part of a hybrid work schedule allowing for 3 days in the office per week and 2 days remote.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Month/quarter end close - Calculate and record journal entries, research unexpected activity or amounts, coordinate and communicate with partners.
- Reconciliations & analysis - Complete detailed reconciliations, understanding the underlying account activity and research/resolve unusual or aged transactions.
- Manage, maintain and reconcile ten plus complex accounts within accounts payable and supplier accounting.
- Reporting - document reasons for balance sheet variances and updating quarterly summary schedules.
- Support - as we believe strongly in the concept of team, we expect, as time and experience allow, that you assist co-workers in completing responsibilities, especially in the areas of analysis and research.
- Provide direct ongoing support for the other six members in the team.
- Lead meetings with supplier accounting, project managers, finance, and accounts payable for these accounts.
- Present at executive meetings and address questions.
- Support and/or participate in special projects. Lead complex projects, developing project leadership skills.
- Review and update internal and external audit requests and providing information as needed.
- Summarize information from multiple sources into a management report to provide high level analysis and recommendations.
- Work with various departments and teams to help automate the process, evaluate the procedures, and increase efficiency.
What We Are Looking For:
- 4-year degree (accounting preferred) and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of strong, detailed reconciliation experience (high volume).
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, self-starter and ability to multi-task.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, specifically v-lookups and pivot tables.
The Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More:
- CPA, CMA, or Master's in accounting a plus.
- Experience using Oracle or similar, large ERP system a plus.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$74,000.00 - $88,000.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
