Nikola is seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, that will assist in the production of timely and accurate U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other external filings (i.e., Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, DEF 14A, and Registration Statements / Security Offerings). The Staff Accountant will also be responsible for assisting in the compliance of internal controls in the Company's business processes. In addition, this position will complete a variety of tasks related to technical accounting, period end close process, implementation of accounting standards, coordination with external audit, and investor relations support.

You will:

• Coordinate and prepare reports that include financial statements, footnotes and other financial information filed with, or furnished to, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) such as 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, proxy statements, registration statements and annual reports
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of Company processes and procedures related to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
• Assist in technical accounting research and analysis
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting and reporting requirements
• Assist with the month and quarter-end close process
• Coordinate with external auditors and other parties to deliver requested support

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred or in the process
• 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience
• Big 4 audit experience is a strong plus
• Experience with SOX compliance
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Effective time management, with the ability to multi-task among shifting priorities

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
