Job Summary

As a Senior Accountant you’re expected to possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills. We are looking for candidates with at least three years’ experience, along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Accreditations such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) are required.

What will you do?

• Complete accounting and reporting for stock-based compensation, global health and other employee benefits, and fixed asset accounting, in accordance with GAAP including general ledger entries, and reconciliations, policy updates and recommendations, and consolidated roll forwards.
• Prepare financial statements for certain stand-alone entities
• Partner with FP&A team to discuss and provide reports on account analysis
• Perform calculations for monthly and quarterly journal entries for headcount related allocations
• Complete trend review and variance analysis for P&L and balance sheet accounts
• Play a key support role in both internal and external audit processes for US and international entities
• Create and maintain financial reports
• Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and review of risk areas and play a key role developing and maintaining internal control policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA license required
• Big 4 experience A+
• Public company experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to work independently
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt for a fast-growing global technology company
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
• ERP implementation experience a plus
• Experience with financial systems including Concur, Intacct, Stampli, Carta, NetSuite, Salesforce, Finpro is a plus
