Our location in Columbus, OH currently has an opportunity for a Revenue Growth Manager. The Revenue Growth Manager is a key role within the RGM and Sales Analytics team that is responsible for the integration of Revenue Growth capabilities within ANPD. The individual will serve as the point person on revenue growth processes, retail plan allocations, analytics and change management. This individual will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Revenue Growth Management: Inspire thought leadership around RGM processes and capabilities within the organization. Drive the utilization and integration of trade management systems with business processes. Develop processes and tools to drive improvements in trade management, pricing visibility, cost to serve and annual planning that will measure and drive sales and margin improvements.
- Change Management: Champion a revenue management culture within Abbott by influencing behaviors that drive smarter decisions resulting in sales and margin growth. Work cross-functionally and influence business leaders to implement RGM projects and processes including training teams on best practices and soliciting feedback on effectiveness of approach, tools, and processes.
- Retail Planning: Identify trade and margin optimization opportunities to tie into annual planning processes. Develop models to efficiently build customer level retail plan allocations including shipments and trade spend. Proactively review these models with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on potential risks and/or opportunities.
- Analytics: Develop recommendations for trade optimization through analytics. Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support recommendations around various projects such as ROI, Pricing, Slope, Price Pack Architecture and Incentives
Collaborate with Field Sales, Brand Marketing and Finance, H.R. and Senior Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior financial and retail sales experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional business partnering and strategic thinking skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work across functions and organizations
- Excellent communication skills with all levels and functions; capable of presenting complex financial information in easy-to-understand formats and terms
- Operate independently and adaptable to changing requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business related field with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant business experience in a retail environment. MBA preferred.
Proficient with financial modeling, systems, tools including Excel, Powerpoint, Nielsen, TPM/TPO and COGNOS
