An Insider's view of AKASA

What are some social events your company does?

Our employees are spread throughout the entire country so we have to be very purposeful in staying connected. Every quarter we have full company virtual social events - like making cold brew! This gives us an opportunity to stay connected with each other, and to meet new teammates that we may not know. It brings so much happiness to our teams.

Senior Manager, Employer Brand and Internal Communications

What unique initiatives do you have that encourage innovation?

I really enjoy our quarterly hackathons. The hackathons are such a great learning and bonding opportunity for the team, and each hackathon has led to valuable improvements that we ended up pushing to production. Most importantly, it demonstrates that we are serious about fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
