Revenue Cycle Architect
Job Description
The Revenue Cycle Architect will manage revenue cycle integration, workflow and technical design across all revenue cycle solutions and venues. You will articulate operational and financial impacts of workflow and technical decisions to client and Cerner project teams. You will also represent leadership expectations for testing strategy, issue management, conversion readiness and post-conversion responsibilities to Cerner and client stakeholders. Other responsibilities include managing project escalations tracking, status and client expectations as point of contact for revenue cycle leadership along with leading clinically driven revenue cycle (CDRC) conversations across venues. You would also work closely with CIO, CFO, and revenue cycle leadership to define financial metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting prior to conversion and participate in legacy accounts receivable planning conversations and decisions.

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 1 year healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
- At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
- High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) - Healthcare Financial Management Association
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) - Healthcare Financial Management Association
Expectations
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
