Revenue Accountant
Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close processes and preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Perform and document assigned controls as required by Sarbanes-Oxley
- Perform accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to, booking journal entries, testing reports and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Research, explain and document variance explanations
- Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies/procedures
- Drive process and system improvements
- Provide support and explanations as needed to other departments, internal audits and external auditors
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or graduating with bachelor's within a year
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adapt to changing responsibilities and workload
- Effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
- Think creatively
- Highly driven and self-motivated
- Ability to work well independently and in groups
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines
- Advanced experience with MS Excel
- Experience with SAP, Blackline and SQL is preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
