Revenue Accountant

About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager of Revenue Accounting, you will be responsible for accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 for Pango. Your primary responsibility will be owning the billing and revenue accounting processes for various lines of business within Pango. Additional responsibility will include processing cash applications for certain bank accounts, work with key partners both in and outside of finance to review new revenue contracts, perform month-end account reconciliations to support our financial close process, and assist the team with other projects, as needed.
Day to Day:

• Own billing and account management processes for certain key customers and partners
• Immediate month-end close responsibilities include closing A/R modules, applying cash to outstanding accounts receivables, preparing revenue estimates and adjustments, and overall accounts receivable review to ensure timely collection of invoices
• Preparation of order to cash related account reconciliations including accounts receivable, deferred revenue, and indirect tax liabilities
• Assist with detailed revenue analysis by channel, vertical and by customer to ensure accuracy of revenue reporting
• Maintain and perform monthly and quarterly SOX related controls
• Assist with the annual audit and preparation of audit related schedules and support

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance or Accounting
• 3-5 years of working experience with a passion for revenue and its importance to the financial documents.
• Sophisticated Microsoft Excel skills required (pivot table, VLOOKUP, etc)
• Requires attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to review and interpret contracts
• Relevant systems experience preferred: Oracle Fusion, Zuora and Salesforce
