About the Role

iCapital is looking for an Analyst or Associate to join our Fund Finance team to focus on Private Capital Fund Accounting and Administration duties. This position will report to a Vice President and work closely with other team members, vendors, and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational control over third-party administrators and transfer agents in regard to the review and approval of journal entries, valuations, performance calculations, and quarterly financial statements for Private Equity feeder funds.
  • Follow and adhere to procedures for all processes performed within the Fund Finance Team, including communications with internal teams and vendors.
  • Facilitate ad-hoc requests from various teams within the organization including fund data requests, investor requests, and client requests.
  • Provide the operational control over the third-party administrator which includes review and approval of all cash related entries, bank reconciliations, allocations of cash between funds, and reconciling cash projections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Strong organizational skills and solid attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to escalate and communicate effectively
  • Passion for the application of innovative technology
  • High level of integrity
