Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Principal Financial Specialist to join our team. This is an opportunity for an experienced analyst to demonstrate their skill set while growing their network in multiple levels of Finance Leadership.

In this role, you will be expected to lead financial reporting & analysis, interface with other finance analysts to drive deadlines & accountability, and monitor variance analysis and reporting. This individual will collaborate with several functional peers and leads as well as Program Managers and the Program Director to monitor & update Short Range Outlook Risks and Opportunities, monthly forecast updates, quarterly EACs, annual operating plan development, and long-range planning. This role will also have exposure to Earned Value Management with full external customer reporting requirements.

The individual must be comfortable working closely with Functional and Program Leadership. This position requires an individual who possesses overall business knowledge, excellent communication & relationship building skills, and the ability to meet responsibilities in a remote environment.

Required Skills:

  • Typically requires 5+ Years of Related Experience
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop reports to drive solutions and process improvements
  • Creative problem-solving skills; individual will need to be comfortable working through complex process and systems changes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead meetings
  • Work independently under limited supervision. Ability to contribute to the successful completion of major projects or processes
  • Demonstrated strong mathematical and analytical skills


Desired Skills:

  • Defense industry experience
  • Program Controls experience
  • Earned Value Management experience


Education:

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
