About the opportunity

As a Pricing Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for developing long-term pricing strategies to improve monetization for Contentful products. You will play a critical role in finding and developing a shared understanding of pricing across different organizations including sales, product development and marketing, being able to influence how different teams operationalize and think about pricing.

This position is an Individual Contributor role and reports into the Sr. Director of Pricing Strategy.

What to expect?

The Pricing Strategy team sits at the intersection of Product, Sales and Product Marketing orgs to improve pricing and packaging practices and drive revenue growth, so be ready to work cross functionally and collaborate with people from all levels at a global scale. Success in the role requires establishment of strong, close business partnering with multiple functions like Product, Sales, Finance and BizOps.

What you need to be successful?

Frequently, your responsibilities will stretch into broader strategic priorities based on company needs and opportunities. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Design pricing and packaging strategies utilizing a data-first approach using multiple inputs from internal and external sources.
  • Transform data into insights into actionable items, communicating and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Influence price points and selling motions through data analyses, collaboration and enablement.
  • Create data and/or pricing tools for sales management and individual contributors to improve decision making and monetization metrics.
  • Work with sales, product and enablement to improve packaging knowledge and pricing practices across the company.

Required Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of working experience.
  • 3+ years experience with pricing, deal strategy or sales strategy.
  • Naturally curious who loves to tackle complex challenges often outside your historical experience or comfort zones.
  • Strong collaborative mindset, being able to influence without authority.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with and influence the decisions of different levels of management.


  • 2+ years of SaaS experience, preferably in pricing strategy or deal strategy.
  • Prior pricing strategy, management consulting, research or product management experience.
