Pricing Manager, Strategic Accounts

We have a need for a Pricing Manager, Strategic Accounts incumbent.
We have a current need for a candidate with strong financial analytics experience to support McKesson's Pharmaceutical Pricing division for the Strategic Accounts segment. The ideal candidate should have proven success in the below:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage generic pharmaceutical pricing through financial analysis to grow revenue/margins; focus on targeted pricing strategies using price optimization software and analyzing market opportunities
- Support new agreement deal modeling process by reviewing current financials and forecasting financial scenarios across multiple product categories including Brand, Specialty, Generics, OTC, and others
- Develop dashboards, reports, and tools to track overall market competitiveness for our portfolio of items
- Propose, present, and engage in value added strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support customer retention and stability/increase of sales to maximize share of wallet
- Accurately summarize each opportunity, analysis, and strategy in a clear and concise manner that leads to thoughtful discussion and timely decisions
Key Performance Metrics
- Increase sales and profit through proactive, consistent, and optimized price management daily
- Obtain strong customer partnerships with external customers to avoid leakage of sales to competitors
- Ability to bring forth new pricing strategies to increase portfolio sales and profitability
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
7+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics, or similar experience
Critical Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in business management including P&L, ROI, and break-even analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret, and transform financial data into recommendations to senior leadership
- Ability to build basic pricing/financial models using Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated self-starter; ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision
- Critical thinking and problem resolution skills
- Ability to perform and deliver quality results within a highly matrix environment
- Previous healthcare or pharmacy experience preferred
- Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and payer reimbursements is a plus
- Experience supporting sales teams is a plus
- Ability to perform and deliver quality results within a highly complex environment
Education
- 4-year degree in finance, business, related field, or equivalent experience
