Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in pricing, financial or data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, a related field or equivalent experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

 

  • 5 years of experience in pricing, financial or data analysis
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Advanced Excel Modeling
  • VBA Coding

 

Job Summary

The Pricing Desk Analyst analyzes pricing data to provide recommendations for enhancing existing pricing models.

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Collaborate with business partners, specifically Rocket Mortgage Trade and Hedge Desk to find areas of opportunity within the secondary markets to drive execution gains and position the rate sheet to drive volume
  • Lead and coordinate the efforts of improving accuracy and effectiveness of financial models through enhancements and new builds within Excel, SQL, and Power BI
  • Reconcile loan sale data and trade reconciliations for anomalies within pricing, which can include systemic profitability issues to right size
  • Develop robust reporting and financial analysis to communicate to senior leadership
  • Communicate market conditions, both written and verbal, in leadership meetings and commentary write-ups to partners and mortgage banking
  • Serve as a mentor to team of pricing desk analysts
