Job Description

Responsible for all aspects of providing quality service for associate payroll. Assists in the collection and processing of weekly payroll for approximately 16,000 associates across all Safelite companies.

Essential Activities:

  • Processes weekly payroll and checks audit reports to verify the accuracy of associate hours, deductions, withholdings, misc. pay.
  • Responds to associate inquires regarding pay, taxes, withholdings, and other pay-related item using high level of customer service and timely resolution of issues.
  • Performs regular updates to the associate master files (direct deposits, wage garnishments, tax setups, and manual checks) and provides, explains, and gathers information from a variety of persons, including associates, the general public, and government officials
  • Prepare and process manual checks and positive pay transmission with banks.
  • Prepare labels for manaul checks. Sorts/distributes corporate paychecks and mail.
  • Other duties as assigned by management


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years' experience in payroll or equivalent field
  • Includes working knowledge of payroll best practices and federal and state regulations
  • Working knowledge of Knonos and ADP
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel.
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong work ethic and be a team player.
