WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Being part of a small team that processes the multi-state payroll for over 3,000 employees on a weekly and semi-monthly basis;

  • Provide support and direction on routine payroll activities to company policies and established standard processes
  • Process voluntary and involuntary earnings and deductions, process pay in accordance with state and federal withholding guidelines
  • Maintain payroll records, document and update procedures
  • Audit timekeeping records, process manual adjustments to employee wage and tax records
  • Review and monitor retro adjustments
  • Audit payroll reports on a periodic basis while maintaining confidentially standards



YOU HAVE:

  • Academic background in Finance/Payroll and/or Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years experience in US payroll full cycle processing
  • Familiarity with US wage and tax laws
  • Skilled in problem solving and critical thinking
  • Excellent digital literacy, including ability to work optimally in Microsoft Office application
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time
