Payroll Administrator
Job Summary
Own and deliver payroll for domestic payroll groups. Develop and implement payroll procedures to ensure timely processing of payroll and all financial obligations related to the payroll process. File payroll related tax paperwork and answer requests for information from state and federal agencies.
Essential Job Functions *
1. Process bi-weekly domestic payrolls
2. Maintain SOX compliance for all processes and documentation of all actions taken
3. Partner with payroll tax vendor to manage all tax fallouts, filing, returns and any other requests or requirements related to payroll tax.
4. Periodically review processes to ensure ongoing compliance and use of best practices.
5. Partner with HRIS and Benefits teams to ensure information is being processed accurately.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in education and experience.
Qualifications
- Five year's of payroll management experience within a progressive HRIS environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable payroll process and procedures.
- Proven experience processing Canadian and US payrolls.
- Experience with Dayforce or Ceridian payroll/HRIS ideal
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Windows.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and vendors.
- Strong math skills - able to understand and accurately present numbers.
- Able to lead and motivate employees by guiding, training, and offering counseling.
- Strong personal integrity due to exposure to a wide array of personal information.
