We're looking for a Senior Manager, Operations and Fund Accountant to manage the strategic initiatives and support the leadership team at Republic Realm.

Republic Realm is a metaverse and NFT innovation and investment platform. Republic Realm is one of the largest digital real estate owners in several metaverses including Axie Infinity, Decentraland and The Sandbox, owner of more than 2,000 metaverse NFTS, and is one of the most active in-metaverse content creators. Republic Realm developed the Metajuku retail shopping mall in Decentraland and the Fantasy Islands ultra-luxury master-planned community in the Sandbox. Republic Realm is actively developing projects that create meaningful connections, build community and foster education, including Republic Realm Academy. 

The right person is highly effective, engaged, and analytical. You will work broadly across projects including crypto-related funds, fund manager accounting for new Republic Realm products, and internal financial projections. 

What you'll do:

• Participate in operational, fund administration and audit functions as necessary, acting as an integral part of the team while working closely with the corporate accounting and finance team. The Fund Accountant will be expected to manage the daily and periodic operational, fund administration, transactional processing and periodic reporting for Republic Realm
• Create, manage, and analyze financial planning models and processes to reduce operational risk, estimate financial results, and drive team performance
• Work directly with senior team members to prepare monthly updates, analysis and forecasts on division performance
• Work with corporate finance team to reconcile the financial statements, accounting schedules and revenue collection
• Manage all sub-accounts for the company and allocate expenses by project to calculate profits by project
• Oversee contractor invoices and employee expense reports
• Work with investors on investor documentation including KYC and AML review

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 6 years of prior experience with a top tier accounting firm, private equity fund or fund administrator. Background in crypto industry a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related fields
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP requirements and advanced excel skills
• Success developing and executing on financial budgets
• A track record of creating, launching and supporting large corporate initiatives
• Strong analytical aptitude, ability to work accurately with numbers and have attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Comfortable working in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment
