We Offer
An exciting and high profile role reporting to the Non-Financial Risk COO for an experienced Business and Financial Management professional. Based in Raleigh or New York the role will be accountable for:
  • Ensuring the day to day robust departmental operating framework
  • Lead and manage the departmental financial framework inclusive of budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the adherence to expense policy and protocols
  • Lead and manage the departmental resourcing book of work for the Non-Financial Risk department working closely with NFR Staff, business managers, HR and recruitment
  • Lead and manage the service governance book of work including agreements and KPIs
  • Manages the strategy and delivery of all forms of internal communications (ie. Senior Management communication, townhalls, culture ensuring efficient and timely flow of information)
  • Lead human capital initiatives, such as talent management, strengthening risk culture
  • Drive business management related initiatives such as business continuity (ie. Occupancy requirements and disaster recover planning)
  • Coordinate results, document preparation and responses for Senior Management across multiple key partners within the nexus of NFR
  • Manage and coordinate project-based assignments and delivery
  • An opportunity to work in a fast paced environment and to interact with a broad set of partners on a senior level as well as with Senior Management in a highly interactional context
  • A dynamic and collegial working environment providing an opportunity to learn and develop an understanding across a broad range of topics as well as to gain insights into risks identified across the Risk function

Non-Financial Risk (NFR) within the CRO function guides the firm's management and provides oversight of non-financial risks to ensure that our day-to-day operations are balanced and resilient, do not expose us to significant losses and enable our employees to make decisions and conduct business in line with our values and desired reputation as a firm. The Non-Financial Risk COO team is accountable for the global operation and overall management support of the NFR department. Core COO mandate includes the department strategy development and execution, risk and compliance governance framework, senior executive presentations to core committees, board or regulators, financial and business management as well as department transformation and innovation portfolio management.
