Overview
Assist department and management in a full range of activities related to bulk whole-loan purchases and sales, commercial real estate (CRE) purchases, bulk servicing rights acquisitions and sales, jumbo-loan sale, and securitization transactions.
Job Description

  • Assist in the consolidation of necessary pricing elements and other relevant data needed to ensure smooth and timely settlement of transactions
  • Analyze vital information from counterparties to ensure completion of due diligence and related items for all trades
  • Analyze key data to prepare (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports, including weekly market updates, trade status updates, and monthly and quarterly action items
  • Aggregate relevant transaction-related data from multiple sources including internal teams and third party vendors
  • Assist in the development of new ad-hoc reports that provide value added views to improve profitability of transactions
  • Ensure renewal of existing powers-of-attorney (POAs) agreements
  • Coordinate the negotiation of confidentiality agreements for all transaction types
  • Complete closing binder for each transaction for audit compliance
  • Support all efforts to warehouse accurate data corporate data systems
  • Ensure that material data is archived in accordance with established procedures and standards
  • Ensure the reconciliation and validation of all third party expenses related to due diligence
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree and interest in finance required
  • Highly detail-oriented due to the significant and immediate financial impact on valuation, pricing and trading
  • Excellent reading, writing and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel required; advanced skills preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, using sound judgment
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface effectively with executive management
