The Boeing Company is looking for Mid-Level Financial Analysts for multiple job openings supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). These positions will support business units and/or functions such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Fabrication, and Engineering. Job duties will be focused on financial forecasting and EACs, performance reporting, and evaluating data to support the needs of the business. Positions are available at the following locations: USA - Auburn, WA; USA - Seal Beach, CA; USA - Everett, WA; USA - Long Beach, CA; USA - North Charleston, SC; USA - Renton, WA; USA - Seattle, WA
Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs. Initiates analysis of: resource forecasts and/or control account EACs; financial EACs.
  • Compile data from multiple sources and develop performance reports. Initiate variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management.
  • Develop, review, analyze and maintain cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicate cost and/or schedule trends.
  • Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience.
  • Be compliant with financial controls; perform and pass audits
  • Support and contribute process improvement ideas across the Financial Operations value stream
  • Supports ad-hoc business function or BCA leadership requests for information, or other finance related activities


This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in a business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)
  • 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, then summarizing findings; developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources at the work group level
  • 3+ years of experience working in cross functional environment and/or business unit teams
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft office Suite


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in business
  • Experience developing and analyzing Financial forecasts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience adapting to evolving work statements and business environment


Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
Relocation:
