Position Overview
All facets of the organization including Sales, Implementation, Client Service and Finance rely upon Paylocity's Tax Services department. Annually, Tax Services is responsible for tax deposits exceeding $52 billion and tax filing one million tax returns. The Tax Treasury Manager will ensure that staff meets primary objective to mitigate risk by creating, documenting, and reviewing policies that ensure timely deposits, sound cash collections, credits, and banking transitions. These procedures must provide for the security of client funds and protect the assets of the company.

Performance Objectives
The below represents the primary responsibilities of the position. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Hire, Train and Supervise qualified staff responsible for the following:
    • Create, import and post cash collection files for client tax liabilities
    • Submit and confirm bank files
    • Reconcile payroll system to tax system and resolve any open issues
    • Review and release client credits consistent with internal policies
    • Research and resolve cash exceptions
    • Produce daily, monthly, and quarterly tax deposits and electronic coupons
    • Submit and confirm daily deposit files to banks
    • Register new clients for agency EFT payments
    • Maintain deposit frequencies, including keeping up to date with agencies changes
    • Gather and record missing EINs from clients
  • Partner with colleagues in Tax, and other related areas (Service, Implementation, Finance) to ensure security of funds and high levels of customer service
  • Other related responsibilities at the discretion of management

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience
  • Previous exposure to Banking, Money Movement or Payroll/Tax Software a plus
  • Experience in a high-volume transactions desired
  • Experience in a fast pace, growth company/technology company
  • MBA, Masters in Taxation or JD desired
  • Process improvement experience desired
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Payroll service bureau experience a plus
  • Intermediate to advance Excel skill desired
  • High level of integrity

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position in Colorado is?$74,000 - $110,000 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined?here.
