As the Manager, Revenue, you will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing revenue, guiding the Revenue Analysts and partnering with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Analyze and calculate revenue accruals during the monthly financial close process
  • Perform and review general ledger account reconciliations
  • Review customer contracts to identify terms that impact revenue recognition, lease accounting, etc.
  • Partner cross functionally to understand the implications of customer negotiations
  • Create ad hoc reports to support multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Perform and ensure key internal controls over the Order to Cash process are in place and functioning effectively
  • Lead process documentation and enhancement efforts
  • Develop and monitor meaningful KPIs that drive continuous improvement
  • Review and calculate sales commissions and ensure payment complies with company policy

What you need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years relevant accounting experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in building financial models to drive profitable growth
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience creating complex formulas and models in Excel with large amounts of data in various formats

It'd be great if you also have:

  • 8 years of experience, including in public accounting
  • Experience managing and developing people
  • Experience with ERP systems including Oracle, Oracle Projects, Microsoft BI, Blackline and related technologies
  • Experience applying generally accepted accounting principles of revenue recognition
