Publishers Clearing House (PCH) is currently looking for a Manager, FP&A.  In this role, you will be responsible for overall revenue forecasting of the Company’s full portfolio of advertising products, our search business, and partner with the Media Sales team in the establishment and measurement of quarterly commissions compensation plans. You will lead the efforts to create monthly forecasts, strategic three-year plans, and annual operating plans. You will work with our analytics team, business leaders in marketing & creative departments, and other finance teams to create financial forecasts and variance analyses between actual and forecasted results. You will also work side-by-side with members of the accounting team with respect to internal ad-hoc reporting.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Own short-term and long-term financial forecasting processes for the high growth advertising businesses 
  • Own variance analysis to explain variance for between forecast and actual revenue for finance and business leadership 
  • Partner with business owners in marketing, and product marketing to establish new financial models for innovative new initiatives 
  • Present to the CFO on a regular basis with respect to PCH Media Sales team progress towards quarterly and annual goals 
  • Partner with resources across the organization to develop and implement process improvements around financial reporting 
  • Partner with the executive team within the PCH Media Sales organization to develop meaningful commissions plans focused on retaining top talent with enough of a challenge to contribute to above plan goals set during the annual planning process

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA a plus, but not required
  • 5 to 7 years Finance experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning packages such as Lawson, Oracle, or Hyperion is a must 
  • Technical finance expertise
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory 
  • Advanced Excel is a must 
  • Flexible and creative in terms of problem solving skills
  • Must have experience presenting to C-suite and Executive level employees
