The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Degree in Paralegal Studies, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, or wealth management is preferred
  • Experience with private markets and non-traditional assets is preferred
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude
  • A high degree of attention to detail is required
  • Experience creating or enhancing documented policy & procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A general understanding of financial markets
  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and manage/meet deadlines
  • A friendly professional demeanor and ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to maintain successful working relationships across a multitude of business partner teams
  • Embracing of change and continuous improvement


The Value You Deliver

  • Gather and complete fund subscription documents, investment questionnaires, and supporting materials utilizing established guidelines
  • Respond to investment manager inquiries and questionnaires in support of ongoing portfolio management
  • Support new business by working closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, tax, and compliance
  • Provide transaction support through analyzing, onboarding, and maintaining non-traditional investments that involve non-standard contracts, investment execution, wire instructions, valuation, investment and operational due diligence reports, and documentation
  • Monitor and improve transaction processes
  • Assimilate information from multiple sources
  • Strong individual contributor who works effectively as a member of a highly functioning team


The Team

Manager, Alternative Investment Operations is a member of a broader investment oversight and operations team and will be responsible for supporting the execution of private equity, real estate, venture capital, hedge fund, and other alternative and non-traditional investment transactions. This individual will be responsible for gathering and completing fund subscription documents, investment questionnaires, and supporting materials necessary to execute new investments in private markets and other non-traditional investments. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, including alternative investment due diligence and oversight, compliance, legal, and others, external portfolio management, general partners, and investment custodian staff to support the timely execution and accurate recording of alternative investments and other transactions. This position requires strong communications skills, attention to detail, positive professional attitude, and ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
