Manager, Accounts Payable

The Finance Team includes Finance Business Partnership, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.
We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join Snap, Inc! Working closely with the Accounting team, you will handle a wide range of procure to pay, travel and entertainment and bookkeeping activity. Working from our Santa Monica office you’ll collaborate with other Accounting team members to synthesize large amounts of data and tell the story behind the numbers.
What you’ll do:
Support Accounts Payable key activities including Vendor Maintenance, Invoice Processing, and Payments
Assist with the management of AP email inboxes and ticketing systems to ensure that internal SLA’s and KPIs are met and inquiries are responded to in a timely fashion
Manage Procure to Pay systems as an administrator, including managing errors and improving functionality
Support Accounts Payable key activities including Vendor Maintenance, Invoice Processing, and Payments
Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, proper coding, and compliance with internal controls
Manage Spotlight and Revenue Share payments process
Work closely and effectively with other departments within Snap to identify solutions and support new business opportunities
Support corporate card administration
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Company policy and accepted accounting practices
Assist Senior AP Manager in implementation of policies and procedures and other projects, as needed
Serve as a mentor to junior staff
Assist in month-end close procedures
Provide support for internal and external audit and other ad-hoc projects
Manage company intranet site for AP, Expense and Purchasing
Lead training and development for staff
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills to interact with employees and vendors in a professional, confidential manner
Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures
Experience in an international environment: multi-currencies, international GAAP and tax rules
Knowledge of accounting ERP software (Oracle a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Excel and Word
Able to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, high volume environment with competing priorities
Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
Experience with Concur or other T&E system
Occasional travel may be expected
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
6+ years Accounts Payable experience
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Cloud
