RECUR is founded by the perfect blend of leaders in the brand licensing space and technology leaders from top cryptocurrency exchanges, digital asset trading desks, financial institutions, and blockchain software companies. Investors include Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum, Winklevoss Twins, Courtside VC, Hashed, and many more. 
 
RECUR is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join its team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, where you will be focused on building RECUR’s Finance function and supporting the Finance team through process creation. 

What you will do at RECUR:

  • The small stuff: Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed, manage the 1099 reporting and filing process, maintain an organized AP inbox, provide timely responses, and issue resolution
  • The medium stuff: Drive continuous improvement through the establishment and timely reporting of KPIs including data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of vendor bill processing and payment, responsible for company-wide adherence to procurement policies and controls, updating policies as needed to support company growth
  • The big stuff: Lead the implementation and company-wide rollout of Airbase, manage the AP financial close activities and related reporting, including AP aging review, general and specific accrual assessment, general ledger review, trend, and variance analyses, manage the day-to-day AP operations, including vendor onboarding, vendor relations, purchase order and virtual card processing, expense classification review, 2-way vendor bill matching, vendor bill processing, and vendor bill payment

What you bring to RECUR:

  • 7+ years of global Accounts Payable experience (minimum of 2 years in a management role) at a high-growth technology company
  • Bachelor’s in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or related discipline
  • Deep expertise in the full P2P cycle, particularly AP and expense management processes.
  • A solid understanding of applicable technical accounting and US GAAP standards, including capitalization, accrued expenses, amortization, and depreciation.
  • Attention to detail and experience multitasking and prioritizing to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to clearly and concisely document and effectively communicate P2P matters, including processes, controls, and issue resolution, to both accounting and non-accounting personnel.
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage Intacct and Airbase. 

Who you are:

  • Champion; A P2P systems guru (Sage Intacct, and Airbase). Create customized reports, saved searches, etc., and always seek to automate processes where possible.
  • Exceptional communication skills; you can succinctly relay what happened and why to a lay audience
