About the team
FIS is looking for a Management Consultant Senior focused on Loan operations and processing. As a Management Consultant Senior, you will work with an exciting and collaborative team. We are passionate about our work and take a client-first approach to everything we do.
What you will be doing
As a Management Consultant Senior, you deliver and provide a broad spectrum of loan (consumer and commercial) consulting services, ranging from origination, operations, and servicing to strategic advisory services to the financial services industry.
Leverages industry knowledge, technology, process, and financial services best practices to deliver results for clients with the goal of improving efficiency and profitability.
Expertise in the multiple areas: technology optimization, financial service channel optimization, business productivity improvement, data analytics, business intelligence, technology integration, or strategic planning.
Understanding the industry, associated business challenges and opportunities for lending is critical.
What you bring:• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in loan financial services or loan financial services consulting.
• Possesses expertise in the FIS IBS Loan System and its application within financial institutions.
• Possesses working knowledge of other FIS IBS Core systems such as IBS Customer Information, IBS Deposit System, as well as IBS General Ledger, IBS Integrated Funds Management and IBS Connectware.
• Possesses working knowledge of loan balancing processes.
• Ability to work with internal teams and third parties to identify existing functionality gaps and identify requirements for product or process enhancements.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and customer skills
• Ability to work with business partners at all levels including executives, technical and non-technical partners
• Desire to support, teach and coach others on best practices in a hands-on fashion and through strong documentation
• Ability to travel 40% - 65%

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Advanced professional role. Considered very knowledgeable in best practices for area of responsibility, possesses very good presentation and negotiation skills. Participates in research and the creation of industry thought leadership and presents thought leadership in webinars and client conference settings. Participates in sales process including identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, defines business solutions for simple to moderately complex business issues, and works independently or as part of a team of consultants through client engagements. Works effectively with C-level executives from client organizations and serves as mentor to other consultants. Typically requires fifteen years of experience in financial services or financial services consulting.
