Lutz Financial + Operations Manager/Associate

We are currently seeking an Operations Manager or Associate, depending on candidate experience level, to support our practice in delivering exceptional client service. This role will oversee the implementation, reporting and oversight of the firm's day-to-day back-office information, client reporting processes and systems. This role is also responsible for the monitoring the firm's compliance policies and procedures, technology integration and third-party relationships including custodians and technology providers. Duties the Operations Manager or Associate will need to learn and/or fulfill, as well as general qualifications, can be found below:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns master project list and assigns special projects as needed
  • Compile and maintain back-office records and activities
  • Manage and maintain the firm's client databases
  • Assist in executing compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Manage relationships with external resource and technology providers
  • Assist in creating processes to improve connectivity and integration across various platforms
  • Assist in automating workflows, tying together disparate data, housing controls, policies, and procedures
  • Reviewing client data aggregation and data analytics
  • Staying abreast of industry, software, and integration updates
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable
  • Provides general office administrative support

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0-10 Years of business management or financial industry experience (5+ years preferred)
  • Relevant educational background (finance, accounting, business or fintech)
  • Experience with RIA technology including Schwab, TDA, Orion, and AdvisoEngine (preferred)
  • Great interpersonal skills as you deal with clients and team members daily
  • Ability to multi-task and keen analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and proactive work ethic
  • A strong understanding of financial services software, mobile applications, and other technologies used to improve and automate traditional forms of finance
  • Adapt quickly to market conditions and technology platform updates
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team-first mentality
