As a Lead Analyst, Finance, you'll serve as a senior member of our Invoicing team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. In this role you will run projects to address complex problems, ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, continually drive efficiencies and help to evolve processes. The drive to revenue starts with invoicing and this is a highly visual and impactful role throughout the greater organization.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Work closely with the Division lead to handle high-level problems, challenging issues tied to accounts, coach others and provide direction to the rest of the divisional team
  • Devise and deploy solutions for business-critical needs; quickly assess unfamiliar situations and provide remediation, including modifying standard processes to address longer term issues
  • Represent the OTC team on calls with internal stakeholders dealing with such things as new business setup, customer master data sourcing, maintenance of existing accounts, collections, etc.
  • Drive transformation, improve productivity and streamline business operations
  • Partner with leadership and Audit team to manage and ensure compliance with control objectives
  • Troubleshoot complex billing challenges, identify and prioritize gaps in processes and perform complex account reconciliations
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with the onboarding checklist related to bill entry and customer invoicing requirements
  • Collaborate with owners of the onboarding process to validate that all required steps and tasks are completed for bill entry and customer invoicing
  • Design and present slide decks to GXO executive and other senior leadership
What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Supply Chain or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 4 years of related work experience
It'd be great if you also have:
  • Ability to clearly communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, especially coaching and motivating others to implement new processes and to work through problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
