Reporting to the Strategy Head for LATAM, the Digital Finance Head for the Latin America region will be responsible for building a digital mindset and capabilities within the entire LATAM Finance team. The Digital Finance Head will recommend, prioritize, lead, and advise on efforts to deploy "digital" solutions to enable:

• Automation of data sourcing and reporting
• EUC remediation
• Digitization of E2E complex manual processes
• Controls strengthening

This leader will be responsible for developing strategies for deployment of digital solutions (e.g., Robotics, Data Visualization, Transformation, Low-code, and Big Data) throughout LATAM Finance and developing an education program to increase awareness of solutions available for use and possible use cases. He/she will partner with process and technology owners and provide guidance for digital implementations. This leader bridges the gap between technology and business to enable faster, more effective digital deployments. A strong combination of subject matter expertise in traditional and "new" technology applications and process improvement leading practices is necessary to successfully execute the role.

This role will also be responsible for forming global and regional coalitions to gain the necessary consensus to overcome traditional roadblocks and to support global Citi Finance Transformation program. In addition, this role will identify opportunities to leverage existing solutions for the Latin America organization as well as to promote LATAM digital solutions that can be extended globally as part of a One Citi approach. Ability to build informal global teams and lead through influence to resolve issues will be critical for success.

Additionally, the Digital Finance Head is accountable for managing LATAM Finance digital BoW, project planning and end results. This leader has management responsibility for multiple teams, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations, and budget approvals.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement digital strategic initiatives across the Region (all countries and business areas) for the Finance organization
• Remove roadblocks and develop methodologies and accelerators to enable the LATAM Finance region to deploy automations and reduce risk within desired timelines
• Provide subject matter expertise input to robotic process automation, data visualization, and other digital technology solutions across the organization
• Advise senior leaders on the identification and prioritization of regional projects that would materially improve the effectiveness and performance of the organization as well as delivering value to the business
• Lead strategic data management projects to improve decision making, develop enhanced financial outlooks, and provide strategic insight
• Influence global stakeholders and leaders to take actions that enable successful deployment of automations
• Lead multiple stakeholders across functions and business (e.g., development teams, risk, process owners, global process owners, supporting technology, ancillary stakeholders, etc.) to deliver projects that lead to application of Robotics Process Automation (RPA), maximization of use of Citi's global platforms, etc.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience working in data-driven complex organizations
• Significant experience working effectively with senior leaders and leading large interdisciplinary, cross-border teams
• Expert in at least 2 types of digital tools (e.g. Data visualization, automation, low-code, transformation, big data, ML/AI, etc.)
• Experience with Financial Services/Banking industry and Finance operations
• Solid project management experience
• Strong consulting-type skills as well as experience leading large-scale transformations including people, processes, and technology work

• Ability to coach direct and indirect reporting teams as well as the ability to influence internal clients on sensitive initiatives and changes
• Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities
• Extensive successful experience adding structure to issues and creating and implementing solutions
• Ability to size and prioritize large-scale initiatives across businesses
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Collaborative work style, ability to effectively interact with partners across organizational boundaries and hierarchies
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree is preferable
