As an Infrastructure Architect Manager Senior for the Site Reliability Center Observability within PNC’s Enterprise Technology & Security organization, you will be based within one of PNC’s Technology and Innovation hubs.
Certain job responsibilities may require in-person, in office activities on a regular basis, with a strong preference of one of PNC's technology and innovation hubs (Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH / Birmingham, AL / Dallas, TX) or one of our satellite offices for technology (Miamisburg, OH / Kansas City, KS / Philadelphia, PA) .
This role will have oversight to PNC’s Site Reliability Center (SRC) which handles and runs incident management problems for priority issues. Assess and provide security analytics, ensuring the security of our cloud platforms, reliability of our infrastructure and business services and the development of automation to simplify operations and eliminate or minimize service interruptions with key enterprise technologies.
You will need to be a critical thinker with an analytical mind-set to quickly assess and evaluate critical issues and reduce problem resolution time. Having an agile mindset with experience using agile frameworks, knowledge of network security architecture, platform security architecture, cloud, application and middleware security architecture and identity access management architecture. Also, strong Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google or other) and response to service interruptions experience for a large, complex organization.
Job Description
- Develops strategies for platform architecture and insures that they align with business strategies and processes; manages technical resources and architecture staff to deliver high quality programs.
- Develops strategies for platform architecture and creates a vision that aligns with business strategies, processes and needs.
- Designs best practices, standards, architectural approaches and complex technical resolutions for (PA) processes.
- Oversees overarching quality improvement efforts for platform architecture.
- Manages, motivates, and develops the performance of the technology management team and key staff

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
