The Amherst Residential platform provides a comprehensive suite of services to facilitate the ownership of single-family rental properties, including property management services, asset-level financing, and asset management services. With a deep understanding of and proprietary analytics on the single-family home and mortgage markets, Amherst's platform combines a unique combination of national scale with local market knowledge and execution.

The Asset Management team is looking for a Head of Revenue Management who will report directly to the Head of Asset Management. This individual will be responsible for the full strategy and implementation of:

  • Credit standards and screening process

  • Open market asset pricing strategy

  • Renewal pricing

  • Seasonality decisions related to the pricing

  • Resident retention initiatives

  • Ownership and continued improvement of tenant lifetime value project

  • Implementing new initiatives to increase non-rental income

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviews marketing performance by region to determine opportunities to drive rent growth or flag potential areas of concern

  • Develops a deep understanding of investor approval process and goals as pertains to revenue and occupancy

  • Uses public research to analyze individual markets and monitors institutional competitor performance

  • Performs portfolio-wide financial analyses focusing on revenue management and ad hoc analyses supporting management and investor requests

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Communication! Strong ability to interact professionally with other departments through written/verbal communication

  • Self-motivated - Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and proactively manage management’s expectations

  • Ability to understand how strategic decisions and operational actions affect financial results

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • 15 years+ experience

  • Experience leading Revenue Management, preferably within large Single or Multi-Family Residential organizations

  • Bachelor's Degree required
