Blockdaemon is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to support best in class communication and overall engagement with its investor base. This role will be a key strategic element in shaping Blockdaemon’s investor messaging and in establishing the company narrative externally. This is a highly visible role and will partner closely with executive leadership, finance, legal, marketing, communications and other groups across Blockdaemon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of an robust investor relations strategy and framework for Blockdaemon
• Track information rights and oversee cyclical communication and sharing of materials pursuant to investor rights agreements and related materials
• Oversee and administer Blockdaemon’s Advisory Bboard, including the scheduling and tracking of regularquarterly meetings, distributing agendas, minute-keeping, and follow up coordination with Blockdaemon’s internal team. 
• Monitor and report on industry and peer company information and practices by tracking research reports, news, earnings calls and other relevant resources
• Collect and communicate feedback from the investor community to Blockdaemon’s Leadership and Board
• Clearly articulate Blockdaemon’s strategy and performance to the investor community, thereby providing investors with accurate, useful, and relevant information about Blockdaemon
• Partner with Marketing and other teams in the development of external messaging relating to company’s progress and significant events
•  In close collaboration with Legal and Finance, and the Office of the CEO, manage Blockdaemon’s IR calendar

   Experience: 

• 8+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: investor relations, investment banking, management consulting, equity research
• Experience interacting with the investment community, including buy- and sell-side analysts, key shareholders, financial media, and potential shareholders
• Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation, investing, and investment management landscape - particularly within the financial services, fintech, & infrastructure/SaaS industries
• Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with numerous constituencies, including senior partners, analysts, and investors
• Effective networking skills and strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Possess a strong network of investment community relationships, including investors, analysts, rating agencies, and financial media
• Experience working at a fast-growing technology company or in the financial services industry
