Responsibilities

Primary Responsibility:

Americold is looking for a full-time financial analyst to support the IT PMO and global technology departments with an $80M+ portfolio with the following key focus areas.

Essential Functions:

Monthly Financial tracking

  • The IT Financial Analyst works with the Americold FP&A group to manage overall IT finances, track costs, identify variance to plan, ensure projected costs are hitting in a timely manner including publishing monthly P&L reports and identify the root cause of any variances
  • Work with the FP&A team to update the financial forecast with any changes as needed


Project Financials

  • Support the IT team to track their Project financials, by researching PO status and other costs that are hitting the Project budgets by using the appropriate SAP T-Codes.
  • The Financial Analyst will also be expected to use their knowledge of SAP and best practices to improve our project financial management processes for tracking and managing project costs.


Capital Spend Tracking

  • Work with the IT Leads to track the overall progress of the capital spend against the annual plan, work with the FP&A team to track any changes to the overall budget and then work with the IT Leads on re-planning any work in progress to meet the new budget.


Time Tracking

  • Provide reports from the time tracking tool on overall labor allocation and leverage the tool to support the tracking of capital labor.


Annual Budgeting

  • Work with the IT PMO and department leads to drive the annual IT budgeting process by providing the financial templates, guidelines in alignment with corporate investment and budgeting review cycles



Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance, Business or related field.
  • Solid background in financial planning and analysis preferably in supporting a globally distributed IT organization.
  • Working experience in the SAP platform in the AP/AR and FICO modules, and be able to use the SAP system to track and report on financial activity and research issues to support the IT team



Knowledge & Employment Standards:

  • Self-starter approach with the ability to accomplish goals with limited oversight
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and reporting tools (SAP BPC in particular) and be able to run variance reports to pro-actively identify issues including standard SAP T-Codes to explore PO invoice and receiving status, Cost Center charges and review GL level details to help the Cost Center owners understand any issues
  • Strong financial analysis and analytical skills (experience with financial analytics tools and measures, such as (IRR, ROI, CAP Rates, ROC, ROIC, NPV, etc.).
  • Ability to multi-task, plan, execute and deliver on projects in a timely manner.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel PowerPoint and Access. Strong Excel skills including pivot table analysis required.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategic concepts into actionable plans
  • Excellent presentation: must have the ability and confidence to speak clearly and concisely to all levels of management, both oral and written.
  • Global perspective; Must have a proven track record of accomplishment and experience of working effectively with senior management.
  • Ability to develop and present cohesive strategy presentations to senior management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and foster positive and effective business relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Results driven, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a keen attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement.
  • Atlanta location strongly preferred with ability to work in a hybrid working environment
