Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

This Accounting Manager will lead our global month-end close processes and will work closely with Accounts Payable, FP&A, and international accounting teams on budget versus actual fluctuations, cost management, process improvement, and a wide array of other business initiatives. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will serve as the “go-to” person for Cost of Sales, and Operating Expense analyses.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • Overseeing the execution of the worldwide month-end close processes, including all month-end journal entries and account reconciliations 
  • Maintenance of global close calendar
  • Prepare monthly consolidation and financial reporting under US GAAP 
  • Perform monthly fluctuation analysis by entity, by account, and by function
  • Maintain global chart of accounts
  • Oversee statutory audits and tax filings worldwide
  • Analyze existing processes, including documentation of existing and future flows. Define and recommend a roadmap for process improvement initiatives
  • Provide guidance to international accounting teams to ensure consistency in consolidated financial reporting and application of corporate policies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams in company-wide system and process implementation projects

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • BS in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years of combined experience in both public accounting and industry
  • CPA required
  • Strong US GAAP accounting knowledge 
  • Excellent ability to analyze problems, think critically for solutions
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguity effectively, oversee multiple projects at once follow-through on commitments
  • Ability to work productively in a dynamic environment and solutions-oriented
  • Ability to build and develop strong teams

Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)

  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with international teams strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a high-growth company preferred
  • This is a ‘roll-your-sleeves-up’ role
