FP&A Manager
Operations finance is looking for a FP&A Manager who will identify Profit & Loss opportunities, build scalable, actionable reporting, and work directly with operations managers and directors to provide value-add analysis and recommendations. We are looking for a resourceful candidate who is data driven, creative, a problem-solver, and a self-starter. You’ll succeed in this role if: you are a builder that thrives in fast-paced environments, you enjoy working across teams to execute on solutions, you’re collaborative, process driven, and decisive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 5+ years of Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Consulting, or Investment Banking experience at a high-growth startup or well-established company
- Strong Excel/financial modeling and Powerpoint skills
- Highly effective communicator who can easily break down complex information
- Ability to build teams and cross-functional relationships
- Adaptive learner and keen attention to detail
- Comfortable with managing multiple projects at once and dealing with ambiguity
- Strong planner with the ability to provide focus for those around them
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key FP&A, Finance, and business partners to influence behavior and decision making
- Apply an analytical approach to review of ROI, customer behavior analysis, and unit economic impact from business initiatives
- Create financial reports that clearly summarize investments, productivity, forecasts, trends, and provide insight to management
- The building of budgeting and forecasting models
- Lead special projects as needed to provide analytical and decision support on new initiatives
- Collaborate with teams across the company to understand existing and emerging business strategies that impact gross profit and build ad hoc models to project financial impacts of these on our P&L and balance sheet
- Accelerate the growth of the business by identifying and implementing new opportunities and solutions for scalability, profitability, and defensibility of our business model
- Monitor the financial statements to understand the impact of current initiatives and to shape future initiatives
- Support Corporate Finance during budgeting and forecasting process with business vertical communications and objectives
- Provide support for field P&L management
