We are seeking an FP&A Manager to collaborate with cross-functional leaders. In addition to traditional FP&A responsibilities of developing budgets, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly reports, this role will have enhanced involvement in new product analysis, data analytics, and company-wide capacity planning. This position will report to the FP&A Director and collaborate with executives across all departments.

A successful candidate should be self-motivated, hands-on, act as a proactive business partner and demonstrate the leadership capacity to assume increasing responsibility in finance management. This role is fast-paced and will have a direct impact on the company's ability to accurately forecast and make key business decisions.

What you will be doing:

• Analyze actual financial results vs budget/forecast and partner with business leaders to drive insightful and timely decision support
• Establish close working relationships with business / functional leaders to develop an understanding of their issues and needs; act as a liaison between these business leaders and executive management to ensure attainment of business goals
• Support new product analysis with custom financial modeling and market insights 
• Manage the financial model, including forecasting, budgeting, resource allocation and long- range planning.
• Support a scenario-based approach to forecasting by maintaining bull, bear and base case ranges for all forecasts
• Work with FP&A Director to implement effective competitive benchmarking
• Support accounting for month-end and quarter-end close processes and audit support
• Support analysis for potential strategic M&A targets

What You Should Have:

• Background working in venture-backed companies, investment banking, or private equity (CFA designation a plus)
• FP&A leadership experience, preferably in FinTech or another start-up environment 
• Minimum of 5 years directly relatable work experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Superior analytical skills
• Proven ability to influence across functions and levels
• Capacity to learn and grow skillset
• Strong accounting and systems knowledge (preferably using Planful, formerly known as Host Analytics, Hyperion or a similar system)
• Strong data visualization skills
• Advanced excel modeling and formulaic construction skills
