Job Description:
Pluralsight's FP&A team is seeking to add a Manager of FP&A to join our team and help us transform the support we provide to our Flow business. Reporting to the SVP of Strategic Finance, this person will work closely with the Flow product leadership and operational teams. We're looking for someone with experience in FP&A, financial model building, and experience coordinating and collaborating on various cross-functional projects.
What you'll own:

  • Reporting to the SVP of Finance, build and maintain strong relationships with the GM and other senior leaders in the Flow Business Unit, and operate as the key financial business partner for those leaders. Drive financial insights for the departmental leaders and ensure sound financial decision making through those relationships
  • Lead core FP&A activities - forecasting, budgeting, and planning for all aspects of the company's financials - on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for those departments
  • Work with peers within the FP&A team focused on consolidation and corporate reporting to integrate departmental financial forecasts and analysis
  • Assist in external and Board communication by synthesizing all operational and financial insights from those departments into presentations, reports, and other materials
  • Present and discuss analysis, findings, and recommendations to all levels of the business: from the C-suite down to departmental analysts
  • Working with FP&A and other analysts, drive the design, build, and implementation of new forecasting, analysis, or other tools using Tableau, SQL, Python, R, or other applicable technologies


Experience you'll need:

  • MBA or other advanced degree, CFA, and / or 5+ years of relevant experience that demonstrates deep corporate financial knowledge
  • Experience working with product, engineering, or similar technical teams from an operational and financial perspective
  • Experience presenting to and working with senior business leadership, from C-levels down to department and team leaders
  • Experience with SaaS companies, metrics, and business drivers
  • Experience with software such as Tableau, SQL, Python, R, and some understanding of how these are being used in data-heavy financial settings
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, and other SaaS financial software packages a plus, but not required
