Based on the evolving situation with Covid-19 we are mostly remote, this includes the hiring process. We are in the process of moving to a hybrid of onsite and remote with some positions remaining 100% remote.
Why This Role Is Important To Arcadia
What you do will have an impact! The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will report to the Manager of FP&A and work with the VP of Finance, Director of FP&A and Controller to support Arcadia achieving its financial goals. This role will provide value-add financial reporting and insights to our business partners.
What Success Looks Like
In 3 months- Learn the nuances and have a deep understanding of Arcadia's SaaS technology and services business model; understand how business decisions have a financial impact- Learn the Workday Adaptive planning tool to support FP&A reporting and planning- Prepare and review the monthly financial reporting packages to department leaders- Partner with the VP of Finance on enterprise time sheet reporting and analysis for ASC 606 revenue recognition purposes
In 6 months- Assist in the preparation of the monthly compliance package to lenders and external stakeholders- Have full command and confidence to leverage our Workday Adaptive planning tool- Perform ad hoc business analysis and drive continual process improvements to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of planning & analysis activities.- Partner with the Manager of FP&A to build cross-function relationships with business partners and collaborate on rolling forecasts
In 12 months- Support the Manager of FP&A maintenance of the financial planning tool and model - Workday Adaptive Insights - as well as proactively proposing model or reporting enhancements- Support annual budgeting and multi-year planning- Partner with CFO and other leaders on a significant and highly visible initiative to support Arcadia's growth- Assist with the cash flow and balance sheet forecasting
What You'll Be Doing

    • Prepare and distribute the monthly financial reporting packages to department heads explaining variances to budget/forecast
    • Assist in the preparation of the monthly compliance package to lenders and external stakeholders
    • Collaborate with the accounting team for month-end and quarter-end close support and analysis
    • Providing timely, accurate and value-added reporting to the business
    • Analyzing data and trends to provide data-driven recommendations and business cases


What You'll Bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
    • High integrity and performance standards. Passion for learning and continuous improvement
    • 2+ years of finance experience with a focus on reporting and forecasting
    • Strong financial modeling skills; comfortable building reports or financial models from scratch
    • Strong communication skills and ability to present financial data to executives

Arcadia's Got Talent (AGT) is an annual talent show that I won last year. The best part about AGT was that it encouraged me to work on something I am passionate about outside of work.
