Position Overview
The Novelis Corporate FP&A team is seeking a FP&A Analyst. The person in this role will report to the Manager, Corporate FP&A Operational Partnering. The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for supporting track of global Capital Investments expenditures, business partnering with Operations and Supply Chain to improve understanding of existing assets performance and capacity. The FP&A analyst will help identifying opportunities, drive better business decisions and own monthly and quarterly consolidated reports.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in-class routine and ad-hoc management reports
- Facilitate management decision making by analyzing financial and operational results, identifying key business drivers, and assessing opportunities & risks
- Support high quality consolidation and review of regional & corporate submissions
- Assist annual and strategic planning processes and results in coordination with management team and partners in the regions
- Pursue continuous improvement, automation; Maintain high quality of analysis, increase efficiency & reduce workloads
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (degree in Finance or Engineering preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft business applications (excel, PowerBI, SQL server, etc) preferred
- Strong data management and problem-solving skills
- Robust analytical, inquisitive, and creative thinking abilities
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects for effective time management
