Why we’re hiring

The Fintech Growth - Crypto role is a new role reporting to the GM of Fintech at Alloy. As the usage of crypto grows, it opens up new opportunities and avenues for value exchange and value creation. It also opens up new and novel vectors for fraud and user friction. Alloy has been an early supporter of crypto (fun fact: guess when our CEO Tommy first started to organize NFT meetups) and as a result, we’ve kept a close eye on what’s happening in crypto. As defi and tradfi continue to intersect more and more, Alloy is excited to continue to support our clients in building a comprehensive understanding of risk and identity for their users across both worlds. We’re hiring this role to focus on our crypto segment and partner with our product, sales, marketing, and data partnership teams to define our strategy and identify unique product + partnership opportunities where we can uniquely help solve hard problems.

What you might be doing

  • Conduct customer discovery to uncover unique pain points that Alloy could uniquely solve and build for the crypto industry

  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships across Alloy leadership team, becoming a trusted thought partner on all things crypto + fintech 

  • Identify and accelerate the strategy, implementation, project management, and operationalization of key initiatives across the crypto vertical at Alloy

  • Work with Alloy’s leadership team to ensure the company is positioned to execute on an aggressive product strategy + GTM in the near and long term

  • Provide intellectual leadership through data-driven business analyses to develop concrete solutions or recommendations 

  • Evaluate white space business, product, and partnership opportunities for our crypto clients

Who we’re looking for

  • You have 5+ years of experience within product, go-to-market, or strategy; ideally in high growth tech companies. Background in investment banking, management consulting, and/or venture/growth capital will also be considered

  • You have a passion for crypto and are excited about exploring the intersection between tradfi and defi

  • You enjoy conducting qualitative and quantitative research and approach problems from first principles to deliver practical solutions

  • You are a low ego and have a knack for working well with a wide range of people

  • You excel in analytics and problem-solving. 

  • You thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy

  • You have a process-oriented mindset and the ability to drive consensus across cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion

  • You enjoy interacting with internal and external stakeholders and can draw insights and takeaways from disparate conversations
