Your role in helping us shape the future:
Manage the Oracle Cloud Finance Systems that enable Intelsat's Finance department activities. These administrative activities include Master Data Management, Financial Data Integration, Finance Application Rules & Calculations, and Report Building & Maintenance. Lead a team focused on maintaining and supporting Oracle Cloud Finance solution that supports the Financial Close, Financial Budgeting & Forecasting, and Reporting & Analytics functions. Collaborate with Intelsat's Finance and IT organization to support applications within Oracle Cloud EPM Tools.
Support the business organization in financial administration objectives concerning GL master data management, Financial Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Consolidations, necessary environment administration, data management, and reporting functionality within. Manage and coordinate resources and processes to lead new acquisition transitions and setup within the Oracle Cloud EPM Solution. Facilitate and reconcile future business needs with cloud capabilities. Serve as technical architect providing industry standard design and development principles. Oversee all aspects of the finance system applications, ongoing maintenance/support, and alignment with Finance & IT leadership on business process and key objectives in functionality and usability. Serve as the primary liaison with internal controls team for the application of those controls within the Oracle Cloud solution.
Are you up to the challenge?

• Work with business owners to ensure critical master data management dimension sync across Oracle ERP & EPM, managing process and users involved in dimension sync approvals and workflow.
• Run actual loads for EPM modules (consolidations, planning, account recs, etc.) and maintain EPM loads via Data Manager.
• Seed critical forecasting activities across all Fusion ERP and EPM Modules, Tax Reporting, and Provisioning.
• Manage application rules within FCCS, ePBCS, and PCMCS.
• Work with business owners to maintain and support key reporting needs within ERP & EPM components (Smartview, FR Studio, and NRCS)
• Lead and define processes for acquisitions, transitions, setup functionalities, and reconciling cloud capabilities on a regular basis with current and future business needs
• Ensure governance around environment usability including management of user licensing, security provisioning, and management of Oracle performance.
• Serve as an effective liaison, collaborating with Intelsat Finance and IT organizations.
• Interact with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define requirements and translate them into detailed design documents, as necessary.
• Supervise any incremental design, coding, testing, and documentation of Oracle ERP/EPM applications.
• Provide technical leadership and documentation; develop governance documents and quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development, as well as support and assist junior developers with technical growth.
• Interface with Finance and IT leadership to provide quality governance, maintenance, and roadmaps for ERP and EPM applications.
• Identify data discrepancies and data quality issues, while working to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Conduct research and make recommendations on IT products, services, protocols, and standards in support of any additional procurement and development efforts.
• Coordinate and manage any incremental system changes, blackout periods, and release planning.
• Conduct system reviews and coordinate with IT Audit requirements.

You should definitely have:

• Must have a Bachelors' degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Computer Science or related field, and at least seven years of broad Finance experience in progressively responsible positions.
• Must have previous management experience in a technical finance system environment.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience working through design, development, release cycle, and delivering financial software solutions and/or management of finance software projects
• Must have proven ability to successfully manage ERP/EPM applications as an individual, team leader, and/or development manager.
• Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem-solving skills required.
• Must have experience acting as Solution Architect managing large scale solutions and projects.
• Must have experience providing business and systems analysis and administration. Relevant experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM modules strongly desired.
• Must be able to successfully work under tight monthly, quarterly, annual and project deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a dynamically changing environment, troubleshoot and solve real-time problems.
• Must have excellent analytical skills, be able to communicate and propose solutions to issues, including the ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical persons.
