Job Summary
The Financial Systems Manager will own and drive financial systems support for our core financial reporting systems, including Infor - d/EPM and Tririga, as well as coordination with M3, ServiceNow and Tableau admins. The role will report to the Director of Financial Reporting & Internal Controls and liaise between Finance and IT. The role requires a clear understanding of accounting as well as a strong technical aptitude and ability to convey technical content to the IT team. The candidate will be an effective leader with a focus on business partnership and process improvement and someone willing to also perform detailed work. The role will oversee system configuration, workflows, security roles, ongoing administration, and daily governance in addition to supporting system users.
Job Responsibilities
- Hierarchy & Report Maintenance: Manage the business account information, including hierarchy structure and categorization for the creation of new accounts, maintenance of existing accounts, execution of entity changes
- Report Development & Management: Create, manage, and automate key reports / dashboards and assist in the review of actual vs. forecast, budget, and prior year with appropriate stakeholders.
- User Training: Conduct training as needed to help users optimize system functionality.
- Internal Controls: Prepares and delivers support documentation for internal and external audits; system access governance and monitoring of segregation of duties and sensitive access
- Policies & Procedures: develop and review processes and procedures. Oversee process/controls for entity and COA changes. Drive compliance to best practices and standard business processes including the development, communication, training and ongoing updates of policies and procedures
- Business Partner: Partner with our Accounting, FP& A, Financial Reporting, and other business partners to deliver and support various business systems and applications
- Liaison/Translator: Translate business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs. Liaison/coordinator/translator between business, operations & IT
- Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.
- Analytical Approach: Understanding consequences of system changes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in information technology, accounting or finance preferred, CPA a plus
- 3+ years' experience in financial business process, controls, reporting, financial systems, or related field
- Strong project management & communication skills; knowledge and previous application of Continuous Improvement
- Experience with system implementations, administration and ongoing maintenance and support, consolidation and budgeting products, system governance, automated controls and GRC systems
- Understanding of Finance/Accounting, reporting, data movement and understanding consequences of system changes.
- Experience in M3, d/EPM, EPM and HFM and related systems and processes, App studio (new version of Crystal)
